Project Description- Bringing forth a fashion boutique inspired by the precious metal gold located in Delhi , The Prachi Kapoor Designer Studio. Gold is a metal of gods and royalty whether it’s used in the fabrics or jewellery.
It’s a homogenous mix of sleek modernity and the traditional old gold colour . The muted tones of walls enhance the garments , colours ,details leaving behind and impression of the royalty enriched with art.
We opted for a self finished golden wallpaper on the walls along with the honey and amber toned trim. Since it was a small space, we added a full size mirror on one side of the wall to create an illusion of a bigger space. For the garment rack we sourced the aluminum sections from a local vendor and got it finished in a dull gold colour paint. The client required a little bit of storage as well so we added a storage rack right below the clothing rack. To maintain the monotone finish of our boutique we used cream tone wooden flooring that beautifully amalgamates with the entire interiors. As it was a clothing studio, lighting plays a major role. We added spot lights above the two garment racks and zig-zag linear lights on the ceiling to bring in some oomph. We even provided a small trial room in the space.
For the front facade we built up a glass and wooden screen inspired by the European architecture. This enabled the customers to take a glimpse of the store while passing by.
