Mid-century modern style:

The main characteristics around a mid century modern style are open spaces, simplicity, environmental integration, functionality, geometry, and nature. There are a lot of simple forms and organic influences. The style has high functionality, minimal ornamentation, and playfulness around it. The color palette ranges from dim tones to vibrant hues which include colors like olive green, mustard, orange, yellow, or even pink. Furniture for this style are shades of dark and natural timber finishes, like teak, rosewood or walnut and have beautiful craftsmanship. One can add versions of iconic furniture such as the Eames lounger, the egg chair, or the wishbone chair.

Glam Style

If aesthetics and a fancy look to your room is to your taste, and also if your pockets are deep enough, then Glam Style is the one for you. Glam Style consists of colours that wouldn't typically be categorised under the "vibrant" category of colours. Gold probably being the only one that could come off a little strong, apart from that all the colours are neutral and colours like golden and silver are usually used for borders to give the glimmery look. To add up to this, the furniture will change accordingly, from having chandeliers to using rich cloth materials, like velvet, for seat covers.

Scandinavian design style

The Scandinavian designs incorporate light wood finishes and natural lighting which are inspired from homes in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The design follows simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty. The interiors are typically painted white to help keep spaces bright while large mirrors, and cozy textiles are key features of this design. The Danish concept of hygge is an essential part of this style and helps to create a relaxing and inviting vibe.

Contemporary Style

If you are someone who keeps up with trends, likes cutting-edge art and sleek furnishing with a tinge of sophistication and simplicity then your preferred choice of interior is the Contemporary Style. There is an evident streamlined use of colours to give a simple to, but at the same time having crisp finishings to your furniture to give a more modern look. Again, neutral colours get preference in choosing the colour palette, but apart from that one could opt for pastel colours (preferably blue, pink, and green) as well. The furniture usually has straight edges, but may have curved edges too, but whether curved or not the edges have to be clean and evident. At the same time, the furniture must be minimalist.

Industrial Interiors

This style takes inspiration from the old factories and highlights the architectural features often found in converted warehouses, such as exposed ductwork and ceiling beams. Some features that are incorporated in the style are sleek lines, salvaged wood and pipework or other metals. Industrial Interiors try to display the building materials which we usually try to conceal like exposed bricks, exposed concrete, steel beams or columns, stainless steel and unfinished wood work. These spaces have interesting lighting fixtures and go for a natural color palette like gray, black, and pure white.

Minimalist

From that we come to the Minimalistic Style of Home decors. The ones who think, "Less is more", find open spaces more to their comfort. This design is without the extravagant looks, big furniture, vibrant colours and more of open spaces, clean looks, simplistic features and uncluttered spaces. The rooms tend to be monochromatic. They could also have textures such as, like natural concrete and wood. There aren't any show pieces or art pieces in such decorations, instead decorative plants could be used at the most.

Japandi

A hybrid of Japanese and Scandinavian home decor is called Japandi Style of Home Decor. It's like a perfect match of simplicity and nature with a lot of minimalism. It is also known as Scandi-Japanese style. Such designs use a muted colour palette, that are, basically, colours with low saturation. Such Home decors look cosy and bring about a more comfy look to itself. They often use wood, namely oakwood for furniture and designs. As decorative pieces, bonsai are bamboo hanging planters used for natural elements. Decorative pieces often also include wooden craftsmanship.
